Uma Nath Singh Autonomous State Medical College, formerly known as Government Medical College Jaunpur, is a state-run autonomous institution established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The foundation stone was laid in September 2014, and the college was later brought under an autonomous society in 2019 to ensure efficient governance. In July 2021, the college was officially renamed after Uma Nath Singh.
