Tinsukia Medical College & Hospital (TMCH), Assam, is the 13th government medical college of Assam, established to strengthen healthcare and medical education in the Upper Assam region. The college is located at Lohari Bongali Gaon, Makum, Tinsukia district, Assam.
The foundation stone was laid on 7 January 2019 by the then Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, and the institute was formally inaugurated on 9 March 2024 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The project was funded by the Assam Infrastructure Financing Authority with a budget of ₹350 Crores.
TMCH is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and affiliated with Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS), Guwahati. It admits 100 MBBS students annually through NEET UG.
