Government Medical College Ernakulam (GMCE), formerly known as Cochin Medical College, is one of the leading government medical institutions in Kerala, located at Kalamassery, Kochi. Established in 1999 under the Co-operative Academy of Professional Education (CAPE), it was later taken over by the Government of Kerala on December 11, 2013.
