The Churachandpur Medical College (CMC) is a project initiated directly under the Government of Manipur with a mission to narrow the gap between the people and health care professionals.  CMC is the third Medical Institution in State (Manipur) and the first Medical College under the Government of Manipur in hill district with 100 MBBS intake capacity annually. This Medical College is affiliated under the University of Manipur.

CMC got official permission for admission of 100 students to MBBS Course from the National Medical Commission: Medical Assessment & Rating Board (MARB), Undergraduate Section vide letter No. NMC/UG/2022/000111/ dated 23/08/2022.
