Gayatri Vidya Parishad Institute of Health Care & Medical Technology (GVPIHCMT), Visakhapatnam, was established in 2016 by the Gayatri Vidya Parishad Educational Society, a well-known non-profit organization in Andhra Pradesh. The institute was founded to bridge the deficit of healthcare professionals in the region, provide medical access to underserved and tribal populations, and promote competency-based medical education as per NMC (formerly MCI) guidelines.
Affiliated with Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, GVPIHCMT is NMC-recognized and currently offers 150 MBBS seats annually. The college is situated on a 28.6-acre campus in Maridi Valley, Marikavalasa village, surrounded by serene hilly slopes and easily accessible via NH-16 (Chennai–Kolkata Highway).

Currently only MBBS is offered; PG courses are planned for future academic years.
Admission is through NEET-UG, followed by MCC (AIQ) and YSRUHS (State Quota) counselling.
The college offers 150 MBBS seats annually.
It is a private, non-profit medical college under the Gayatri Vidya Parishad Educational Society.
